The mission
Modern Mazer is the first proof-of-concept for a broader AI-native, creator-owned publishing and discovery platform.
The long-term goal is to help creators own their domains, their content, their audience relationships, their customer data, their monetization, and their authority and identity signals.
Fermentation and mead are the first development laboratory. The Recipe Engine is the immediate implementation priority.

Creator ownership
Content must be portable and exportable. No unnecessary platform dependencies.
Structured for machines
Every page is designed so search engines, AI assistants, and autonomous agents can discover, understand, and cite it.
Not a destination platform
YouTube, social networks, and other platforms may remain distribution channels, but this site is the canonical source.
Honest documentation
Recipes are version-controlled, testing status is disclosed, and placeholder content is clearly labeled.
Corrections and reporting
Recipe accuracy matters. If you find an error in a formulation, a safety concern, or a factual mistake, use the feedback link on the relevant recipe page to submit a report. All reports are reviewed before any changes are made.
Modern Mazer is an independent project. Recipe content is version-controlled and testing status is disclosed on every page.
Authorship and methodology
Modern Mazer recipes are developed through several distinct processes. Each recipe's page discloses its testing status and evidence basis explicitly. The categories are:
Production-proven
Recipes with a confirmed commercial production record from Chapter 11 Cellars, an affiliated meadery. These are the highest-confidence records on the platform.
Owner-formulated
Recipes formulated by the owner but not yet confirmed in commercial production. Formulations are based on established fermentation science and nutrient protocols.
Development and editorial
Recipes derived from established platforms or developed editorially. These require testing before use in production. Testing status is always disclosed.
